Love with Food Meal

I’m so happy I got the chance to let you all see another great Love with Food box! This one is their Flavors of Fall box with Chef Ryan Scott, but it still has tons of goodies that work perfectly with winter. Instead of just trying these snacks, I decided to gather a few ideas you could use the different snacks for to create a Love with Food meal! If I didn’t live in a dorm, I would definitely be trying this!
This recipe comes from Chef Ryan Scott and was included in the box. Enjoy this great appetizer!
For the main course, use the authentic Indian spice blend from Arora Creations to make this Lamb Tikka Masala from Alton Brown. It’s a great twist on the traditional chicken masala you always see in restaurants!
Traditional desserts can be heavy and large, something you definitely don’t feel like eating after a meal. A different idea for dessert would be a dessert sampler! Put some tuxedo popcorn from Kukuruza into shot glasses and serve alongside a piece of maple fudge from Laura Secord or a square of dark 70% chocolate from Green & Black’s Organic and Ginger Twist tea from Mighty Leaf. This is a great end to an autumnal meal!
While I created an appetizer, main dish, and dessert with the snacks included in this Love with Food box, there are still a few that I didn’t use. The box also included an almond, apricot, and yogurt bar from Eat Natural; rosemary sea salt shortbread from Dancing Deer Baking Co.; and sweet corn crunch from Sensible Foods.
Remember that Love with Food also donates a meal to a hungry child with every box purchased! For the Flavors of Fall box, Love with Food donated all meals from the month to Harvest from the Heart and popchips offered a complimentary case of their tasty popped chips for every $50.00 donation made! I love a company that gives back!
